Heather joined IRRE in 2021. She draws on over a decade of experience as an out-of-classroom and post-secondary educator to inform her work using data to help examine active ingredients for change in education systems, and refining that data to make usable information and tools for educators.
Heather earned her Ph.D. in Applied Psychology, with training grounded in applied research, quantitative data analysis, motivational theories of education, and lifespan theories of human development. Her doctoral research explored the social and motivational factors that support healthy trajectories of engagement across early adolescence.
